What is the gym championships competition?
Gym Championships is a competition to find the fittest, strongest, fastest team within the UK’s fitness community.
When will it take place?
Gym Championships is scheduled to run every year with the first match launch scheduled for January 2024. The season runs events on 27th January, 27th April, 31st August, 30th November 2024.
Where will it take place?
The Gym Championships will operate from XINX, Unit 5 Craftsmans Way, East Goscote, Leicestershire LE7 3XA. Situated in the midlands it is an ideal location wherever you are travelling from across the country.
XINX is a fitness facility with premium equipment specialising in all forms of functional fitness. @xinx_fitness.
How will it work?
Throughout the year there will be 4 events in total. Each event will consist of 4 workouts across the day, each being varied involving a specific component of fitness. The team structure varies for each event. JAN: Mixed teams of 4 (2 males/2 females), APR: Same sex pairs, AUG: Same sex teams of 4, NOV: Mixed pairs.
Entry for pairs each pairs event is £90 and £180 for teams of 4, discount codes available for multiple events across the year.
WHAT ARE THE MOVEMENT STANDARDS?
These are not comprehensive of all movements that may come up
in competition, but all weights listed are assuming you can
perform 6-10 reps at that weight.
Overhead, Hang Clean and Press or similar.
Overhead squats. Please note there will NOT be any – Snatches or
Overhead Squats.
Barbell Shoulder to Overhead 50/35kg

What is the prize?
There will be a cash prize for the top placing teams with 1st place being crowned Gym Champions and prizes for each event.
